-
We propose a fundamental extension of string theory in which spacetime possesses an equal number
of spatial and temporal dimensions, yielding a twenty-dimensional manifold with signature
$(10,10)$. The fundamental coordinates are defined as
\[
X^A = (x^1,\dots,x^{10};\, t_1,\dots,t_{10}),
\]
with invariant interval
\[
ds^2 = \sum_{a=1}^{10} c^2 dt_a^2 - \sum_{i=1}^{10} (dx^i)^2 .
\]
Quantum states depend on the full temporal vector
$\mathbf{T}=(t_1,\dots,t_{10})$ and satisfy a multi-time evolution law
\[
i\hbar \frac{\partial \Psi}{\partial t_a} = \hat{H}_a \Psi, \qquad a=1,\dots,10,
\]
together with integrability constraints ensuring consistent dynamics. A single observable time
parameter $\tau=n_a t_a$ emerges dynamically as a projection of the higher-dimensional temporal
space. We construct generalized string worldsheet, Dirac, and gravitational actions in the
$(10,10)$ geometry and demonstrate that conventional $(1,9)$ string theory arises through
temporal projection and dimensional reduction. This framework suggests that quantum behavior and
spacetime structure originate from hidden time dimensions and provides a new geometric route
toward unification.
