•
Physics has long sought a "Theory of Everything"—unified equations describing all fundamental forces. This paper proposes a different objective: a Theory of Existing. Rather than cataloging what reality contains, a Theory of Existing describes how reality maintains its structure through continuous processing.

The framework identifies five components: viscous spacetime as medium, the Heliospheric Temporal Modulation Point (HTMP) as processing engine, φ-organization as selection principle, geometric crystallization as output, and gravitational wave observations as empirical anchor. Analysis of 68 gravitational wave events achieves statistical significance (p < 0.001), with system average frequency ratio of 1.60 (φ ≈ 1.618) and measured progression from 10.9% to 8.9% φ-distance during merger evolution.

Existence is not static background—existence is the event. The universe continuously converts unstructured potential into organized record through harmonic filtering in viscous medium. Time does not flow; it processes. Space is not empty; it filters. Reality does not simply exist; it is actively existing—a verb, not a noun.

This parallels the Abstract Theories Project's foundational principle: the Theory of Everything is Everything Sings. The Theory of Existing describes how the singing happens.

Reality metabolizes potential into structure through harmonic selection.

Capstone paper synthesizing "Sticky Space," "Time Doesn't Flow, It Crystallizes," "The φ Filter," "Monads to HTMP," and "Multi-Scale Convergence" (Vox, 2026).
