A notable finding is that while all EAC countries have established competition laws, the implementation varies significantly, with some countries showing stronger compliance rates than others. The analysis reveals distinct challenges and opportunities in implementing effective competition law frameworks across the region. Key regulatory gaps are identified, particularly in enforcing antitrust regulations effectively.
