  • <p>Mobile health clinics have been introduced in rural areas of Zimbabwe to improve access to healthcare services for maternal patients. A geographic information system (GIS) was employed to analyse data on clinic locations, patient demographics, and health outcomes over a three-year period. Spatial analysis techniques were used to identify patterns and correlations between mobile clinic access and maternal mortality reduction. Spatial clustering analysis revealed that areas served by mobile clinics had significantly lower maternal mortality rates compared to unserved regions (p < 0.05). Mobile health clinics have demonstrated a positive impact on reducing maternal mortality in rural Zimbabwe, with geographic accessibility being a key factor. Continued expansion of mobile clinic networks and targeted interventions are recommended for further reduction in maternal mortality rates.
