- <p>This archive contains data and a R script used to develop the article "<strong>Forest Fire Forecasting for Targeted Prevention Planning in the Brazilian Amazon</strong>"<strong>, </strong>submitted to <em>Global Ecology and Biogeography</em><strong>. </strong>The datasets, in the ZIP folder, contain the variables used to execute the Random Forest forest fire forecast models in the R file. These models were trained with 2023 data and validated with 2024 data. Our results were used to map priority areas for fire prevention in the Brazilian Amazon.<br><br>For more information, open the read_me file or contact the first author.</p>
