- <p>This Data Descriptor focuses on evaluating risk reduction in manufacturing plants systems within Nigerian industries. A multilevel regression model was utilised to examine the impact of various risk factors at different levels (e.g., plant, department) within manufacturing plants in Nigeria from -. The model accounts for both fixed and random effects across multiple hierarchical levels. The analysis revealed that a significant proportion ($eta = -0.45$, $p < 0.01$) of the variance in risk reduction metrics was attributed to differences between plants, indicating substantial variability at this level. The multilevel regression approach provided insights into how different levels of manufacturing systems contribute to overall risk reduction outcomes. Future studies should consider implementing targeted interventions based on findings from regions with higher variance in risk reduction metrics.
