Conventional educational theory focuses on curriculum design, pedagogy, and cognitive development, but lacks a unified field-theoretic account of why learning succeeds or fails at the level of individual experience. This paper introduces the Energy–Consciousness Observer Framework (ECOF) as a coherence-based model of educational dynamics. Within ECOF, learning is not merely information transfer — it is a resonance alignment between observer consciousness and structured information fields, modulated by entropy (S), coherence (Φ), and observer-field coupling F(O). The paper derives a Learning Impact equation, situates it within established educational and cognitive science literature, outlines falsifiable predictions, and establishes ECOF's relevance to pedagogical innovation, adaptive learning systems, and educational equity. This is a Level One anchor paper establishing the ECOF–education connection as a foundation for further empirical and theoretical development.

Keywords: ECOF; educational theory; coherence; entropy; observer-field dynamics; learning sciences; pedagogical design; adaptive learning; meaning-making; consciousness
