-
Field research stations in Nigeria are crucial for agricultural development but face challenges in resource allocation and efficiency. A quasi-experimental design will be employed to compare different settings within Nigeria, with specific attention given to resource allocation, output metrics, and cost-efficiency ratios. The preliminary analysis indicates that certain station setups achieve higher yields per unit cost compared to others, highlighting the importance of resource optimization strategies. This study suggests that by fine-tuning resource allocations based on station performance data, Nigeria can enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability. Investment in research stations should prioritise those with proven efficiency metrics, while continuous monitoring is essential to adapt to changing conditions. The empirical specification follows $Y=\beta_0+\beta^\top X+\varepsilon$, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
