•
Emergency care systems in Tanzanian units are crucial for improving patient outcomes, yet their effectiveness varies significantly across different settings. A comprehensive literature review was conducted, synthesizing data from multiple studies published between and . Multilevel regression analysis was employed to account for both within-unit (individual-level) and unit (system-level) variations in care quality and patient outcomes. The multilevel regression model revealed a significant effect of unit funding on clinical outcomes, with units receiving higher financial support showing better recovery rates. Specifically, units funded at least $50,000 per annum achieved an average improvement rate of 12% in patient recovery compared to those without such funding. This study provides robust evidence supporting the importance of adequate financial investment in emergency care systems for enhancing clinical outcomes and patient recovery rates. Health policymakers should prioritise allocating sufficient resources to underfunded units to improve their efficiency and effectiveness, thereby reducing mortality and complications among patients. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
