  • <p>Microfinance programmes have been introduced in various urban settings to support entrepreneurs, particularly among youth who may face financial barriers. The study employed a qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews with participants from selected microfinance initiatives. While microfinance programmes have facilitated credit access, they may inadvertently contribute to heightened financial strain among urban youth entrepreneurs. Programmes should incorporate strategies to mitigate debt burdens and enhance long-term sustainability for participants.</p>
