•
I. Scope and Purpose

This dataset documents a single East Asian prehistoric zoomorphic jade artifact (EANJ_ZOOMORPHIC_03) through multi-view visual records. It constitutes one individual specimen within a systematic digital archiving project composed of multiple zoomorphic-form artifacts and forms part of an ongoing and expandable data collection.

The purpose of this record is to provide independently verifiable foundational visual materials for relevant research fields through standardized image acquisition and organization, serving as an objective reference base for subsequent scholarly work.

Provided that researchers independently establish clearly defined research questions and methodological frameworks, this dataset may be used to support cross-comparative morphological analysis, teaching demonstrations, and non-invasive re-analytical studies based on visual data.

Access Note:
This record is released as a low-resolution public preview. The complete high-resolution original image dataset (approximately 42 megapixels per image), designated as Record B, is published separately under restricted access. Researchers may submit access requests via the following DOI:
https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19023795

II. Academic Neutrality and Non-Interpretive Disclaimer

This dataset adheres to the principle of non-interpretive description, ensuring scientific neutrality and methodological transparency throughout the documentation process.

All textual descriptions and image annotations are strictly limited to directly observable phenomena and do not constitute, imply, or suggest any archaeological attribution, cultural classification, chronological determination, or historical contextualization.

This record does not address or evaluate the artifact’s provenance, functional interpretation, academic significance, or commercial value, nor does it constitute any conclusive or authoritative statement.
