-
This preprint proves a scoped no-go theorem for deterministic recovery of Born-rule probabilities from branch-conditioned records under a pointer-commuting post-premeasurement regime.

Under explicit structural assumptions, any deterministic measurable selector acting only on admissible records induces a fixed column-stochastic transform of the Born weights. Exact Born recovery on an open set is therefore possible only when the conditional record laws identify the branch almost surely.

The result does not claim a general impossibility theorem for quantum measurement; rather, it isolates a specific obstruction for deterministic record-based schemes and clarifies where additional amplitude-sensitive structure would be required.
