Malaysia.</b> Pahang *, Selangor.</p><p><b>New record.</b> [Pahang], Benom Mts, 15 km E of Kampong Dong, 3.53N, 102.01E, 700m, 1.iv.1998, Dombický & Pacholátko (1).</p><p><b>Hosts.</b> Polyphagous (Browne 1961a; Ohno 1990).</p><p><b>Biology.</b> The species often occurs in mangrove forests (Browne 1961a; Murphy & Meepol 1990), but also in lowland forests. It attacks unhealthy, dead or cut trees of almost any size (Browne 1961a).</p>
