-

This study investigates the species composition, bioecological characteristics, and agroecological significance of Diptera (true flies) inhabiting wheat agroecosystems in the Khorezm region. A total of 10 Diptera species were identified, and their trophic structure, voltinism, life forms, and moisture preferences were analyzed. The results showed that entomophagous species (40%) and phytophagous species (30%) constitute the main components of the agroecosystem. The dominance of polyvoltine species (50%) indicates a high potential for rapid population growth. The findings provide a scientific basis for improving biological and integrated pest management strategies in wheat agroecosystems.
