It was maintained that the soil of the valley requires many studies related to soil, as the valley area is a point where sediments gather due to the torrential waters sloping on both sides of the valley.

To determine the suitability of the soil for cultivation, the research team collected 9 samples, 15 tests were conducted for each sample, resulting in 135 tests total to determine its chemical and mechanical properties. As a result of the tests that were conducted at the Boshra Center for Medical and Chemical Analysis in Tobruk, it was maintained that the soil of the area has high salinity in the samples that depend on immersion irrigation, and the proportion of organic matter inside is appropriate; besides, most of them are suitable for agriculture, especially seasonal crops, which is the study’s main area of concern.

Finally, the study reached many important results and recommendations which will benefit researchers in this field.
