-
We do not begin from what is already formed. We begin from that by which formation
becomes possible.

This paper develops a generative ontology in which becoming is ontologically prior to being and
coherence functions as the invariant ground of emergence, persistence, and intelligibility.

Rather than beginning from substances, laws, or geometries already treated as primitive, the
paper begins from irreducible ontological conditions that cannot be removed without
explanatory loss. These include coherence, symmetry, asymmetry, resonance, and observerfunction/
consciousness.

The central claim is that such irreducibilities are not optional metaphysical preferences but necessary structural conditions for any world in which stablevforms, transformations, and relations can arise. On this basis, the paper argues that axiomatic structure should be derived from ontological necessity rather than posited independently of it.

Axioms are thus reinterpreted as the first formal stabilization of generative conditions disclosed
at the ontological level. The result is a coherence-based foundation that reframes the relation
between being and becoming, clarifies the transition from irreducibility to axiom, and
establishes a principled basis for later developments in mathematics, physics, and
consciousness theory.

Keywords: generative ontology; coherence; becoming; being; irreducibility; symmetry;
asymmetry; resonance; observer-function; consciousness; axiomatic foundations; Unified
Coherence Theory
