- <p><strong>Resumo:</strong> O presente artigo visa apresentar algumas obras da arquitetura esportiva no estado de São Paulo, projetadas e construídas entre as décadas de 50 e 70, com o intuito de contribuir com as discussões sobre a produção arquitetônica moderna brasileira deste período. As obras foram catalogadas e elencadas após um extenso levantamento sobre a produção desta tipologia de projeto no período e local descritos, que resultou na dissertação de mestrado: Quadro da Arquitetura Esportiva de São Paulo: 1950-1970, que pretendeu identificar e apresentar características projetuais e construtivas sobre essa tipologia arquitetônica. A pesquisa resultou na descoberta de uma variedade interessante de possibilidades formais e estruturais, assim como algumas obras pouco conhecidas e estudadas, e que serão apresentadas neste artigo: o Ginásio Municipal de Araraquara e o Estádio do Canindé.</p> <p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The present article aims to present some works of the sports architecture in the state of São Paulo, designed and built between the 50 's and 70' s, with the purpose of contributing to the discussions 265 about the modern Brazilian architectural production of this period. The works were cataloged and listed after an extensive survey on the production of this type of project in the period and place described, which resulted in the master research: Sports Architecture Framework in São Paulo: 1950-1970, which sought to identify and present characteristics from project and construction about this architectural typology. The research resulted in the discovery of an interesting variety of formal and structural possibilities, as well as some little known and studied works, which will be presented in this article: the Municipal Gymnasium of Araraquara and the Canindé Stadium.</p>
