-
This preprint (Paper LI) demonstrates that the S_8 tension—the 2.9-sigma discrepancy between Planck CMB predictions and weak lensing measurements—is naturally resolved within the MSDS framework. By applying the gravitational slip \eta(z) derived in Paper L, we show that the lensing potential is physically suppressed by a factor of \Sigma(z) = (1+\eta)/2. Using the lattice constant \Delta_0 = 0.042 and WKB scaling s=3/4, the model predicts S_8 = 0.7871, matching the KiDS-1000 observation of S_8 = 0.7849 within 0.1-sigma. This resolution requires zero new parameters and suggests the "tension" is the first direct observational evidence of vacuum lattice structure.
