- <h3><em><span>Abstract</span></em></h3> <p><em><span><span> </span><span lang="EN-IN">Financial literacy has become an essential skill for young individuals in managing personal finances and making informed financial decisions. This study examines the level of financial literacy among college students in Satara District. The primary objective of the research is to assess students’ knowledge of financial concepts such as budgeting, saving, investment, banking services, and digital payment systems. The study also aims to identify factors influencing financial awareness among students, including educational background, family income, and access to financial information.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span lang="EN-IN">A descriptive research design was adopted, and primary data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed among college students in various institutions across Satara District. The findings reveal that while most students are familiar with basic banking and digital payment methods, their understanding of investment options, financial planning, and risk management remains limited. The study highlights the need for incorporating financial education programs and workshops in colleges to improve financial awareness and responsible financial behavior among students.</span></em></p> <p><em><span lang="EN-IN">The research concludes that enhancing financial literacy among college students is essential for building financially responsible individuals who can contribute effectively to economic stability and personal financial well-being.</span></em></p> <p> </p>
