-
This study is devoted to the analysis of the aesthetic and semantic functions of hyperbole as a stylistic device in literary texts, based on the example of “A Day in the Galaxy.” The research demonstrates that hyperbole functions not only as a means of enhancing imagery but also as a significant stylistic mechanism that deepens the ideological content of the text. The analysis focuses on how hyperbolic expressions contribute to the construction of a fantastical space-time continuum and a system of artistic images. The findings indicate that hyperbole serves as an essential aesthetic tool that intensifies emotional-expressive impact while simultaneously expanding the reader’s imaginative perception.
