  • <p>This manuscript presents a proposed experimental test of a prediction from stochastic electrodynamics (SED): that atoms entering Casimir cavities may undergo small orbital energy shifts and release detectable energy. Using standard Casimir and waveguide arguments, the manuscript derives gas-specific cavity diameters for several noble gases and proposes an anodic alumina membrane experiment with conductive pore coatings, infrared detection, modulation, and control tests designed to distinguish any signal from thermal or flow-related artefacts. The work is presented as an exploratory, non-peer-reviewed proposal rather than a confirmed result.
