-
This article presents a structured geopolitical analysis of the evolving tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States by integrating historical, geographic, and strategic dimensions into a coherent interpretive framework. It examines Iran’s geomorphological resilience, civilizational continuity, and post-1979 ideological transformation as key determinants of its current regional posture. The analysis then evaluates the contemporary geopolitical environment, emphasizing the strategic significance of critical maritime chokepoints such as the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb in global energy security. Building on these foundations, the article advances a reasoned interpretation that long-term strategic objectives may involve the reconfiguration of energy transit routes and the consolidation of infrastructural influence in the eastern Mediterranean. It argues that modern geopolitical competition increasingly centers on control over networks and flows rather than territorial expansion alone. While acknowledging uncertainties and constraints, the article provides a logically consistent perspective that contributes to a deeper understanding of the structural drivers shaping Middle Eastern geopolitics.
