- SeisCat is a command-line software tool for building, maintaining, and querying local seismic catalogs. It integrates event data from FDSNWS web services and local files in multiple formats, storing them in a portable SQLite database for efficient access and analysis. In addition to catalog management, SeisCat supports visualization, export, waveform and station metadata retrieval, and automated event-based processing through user-defined scripts.
