- <p>This article examines the role of Dziga Vertov in the formation and development of documentary cinema within the history of world cinematography. The study analyzes Vertov’s theoretical concepts, particularly the “Kino-Eye” approach, which redefines the camera as an objective tool for capturing reality beyond human perception. Special attention is given to his seminal film Man with a Movie Camera as a turning point in the evolution of cinematic language and montage theory.</p>
