- <div class="page"> <div class="textLayer">Reproductive health is an essential aspect in improving family quality of life, one of which is through the family planning (FP) program. Hormonal contraception is widely used due to its effectiveness and practicality; however, emotional side effects such as mood changes are often overlooked. These conditions may reduce users’ comfort and even lead to discontinuation of contraceptive use. This community service activity aimed to enhance knowledge and preparedness of hormonal contraceptive acceptors in managing mood and emotional disturbances through psychoeducational assistance. The program was conducted at TPMB Lidia Sidayu Gresik involving 20 participants aged 18–45 years who had been using hormonal contraception for at least three months. The methods included joint planning with health workers, interactive education, participatory counseling, relaxation technique simulations, and evaluation using pre–post tests. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in knowledge, as indicated by a shiftin the knowledge category from only 20% having good knowledge to 75% having good knowledge after the intervention. A simple analysis using the Wilxocon Signed-Rank Test yielded a p-value of 0.000. These findings indicate that psychoeducation-based counselling is effective in strengthening acceptors' understanding and supporting the continued use of hormonal contraception. With the strengthening of health workers' capacity and the use of digital educational media, similar activities have the potential to beimplemented more widely as a comprehensive service model that covers the physical and psychological aspects of acceptors.</div> </div>
