- <p>The main goal of this research is to examine how customer behavior impacts the growth of UPI Payments and Rupay card payments from 2016-17 to 2022-23. This study utilizes secondary data from reports by the national payments corporation of India, as well as various journal articles, annual reports, and other sources. Its objective is to assess the challenges faced in obtaining a RuPay card and making UPI Payments, as well as the usage levels by cardholders. Moreover, the study will collect information on the public's understanding, perspectives, and feedback on the advantages of the RuPay card and UPI Payments, as well as the obstacles encountered in obtaining them, based on prior research studies. This data will be used to derive conclusions and make recommendations. The analysis of the data reveals a significant recent increase in the utilization of UPI and Rupay card payments, resulting in a rise in digital and cashless transactions. The evaluation of innovative financial services is grounded on the expansion of bank accounts and the volume and value of transactions. Although concerns have been raised about service quality, the UPI and Rupay card payment system has effectively addressed these issues. The study concludes by examining the challenges and opportunities encountered by UPI and Rupay Payments services in India, with a particular focus on their impact on financial inclusion, considering factors such as accessibility, usage, and quality. Ultimately, the study finds that there has been progress in financial inclusion, with UPI and Rupay card payment apps playing a crucial role in enhancing access to digital transactions and other financial services for users of UPI and Rupay Payments services in India.
