- <p class="MsoNormal"><span>This article examines the problem of conceptualizing pop-vocal performance competence of <span class="ypks7kbdpwfgdykd3qb9">future</span></span><span> </span><span>music teachers within contemporary pedagogical scholarship. The relevance of the study is conditioned by</span><span> </span><span>the transition of music teacher education toward a competence-based paradigm, as well as by the growing</span><span> </span><span>significance of pop vocal art in educational practice. Drawing on an analysis of scholarly literature, the study</span><span> </span><span>elucidates various approaches to interpreting performance competence and specifies its content within the</span><span> </span><span>context of training future music educators. The paper substantiates the necessity of further theoretical</span><span> </span><span>conceptualization of this construct in order to enhance the quality of professional preparation of future</span><span> </span><span>specialists.</span></p>
