contents
This Zenodo entry contains a predictive technical note that evaluates the prospects for detecting the UAT scalar attractor during the upcoming fifth LIGO observing run (O5). The analysis is based on the projected O5 noise environment (stronger frequency‑dependent squeezing, reduced mirror thermal noise) and uses the same 36‑phase radial coherence pipeline validated on O1–O3 data (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19955219).

A numerical simulation applied to the O3 event GW170814 shows that, at a higher‑frequency band of 1.0–1.2 kHz, the peak‑normalised RMS of the radial coherence remains within the ±0.05 tolerance (deviation +0.0123). However, the suppression of mirror thermal noise by a factor of ~5× drives the thermodynamic overdrive ratio κ/k from 5.14 (O4) to an estimated 25.70 (O5). This indicates a state of critical causal saturation in which the signal would be practically undetectable despite the preserved phase coherence.

Because O5 has not yet begun, this note constitutes an a priori prediction that can be tested against real O5 data when they become available. The results complement the existing validation suite and further motivate the construction of a dedicated omnidirectional detector (Puan Station) that is not limited by squeezed‑light metrology.

Related works

Main validation suite: DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19955219

O4/05 squeezing attenuation note: DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19959628
