With 22 officially recognized languages and hundreds of dialects, India faces unique challenges and opportunities in leveraging digital tools for language education. The study analyzes government initiatives such as Bhashini, SWAYAM, and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, alongside emerging AI-powered platforms and mobile applications. Through examination of current implementations, benefits, and persistent challenges including digital divide and teacher training gaps, the present research paper demonstrates that technology serves as both democratizing force and complex challenge in India's pursuit of linguistic equity and educational excellence. Findings suggest that successful integration requires sustained investment, policy alignment, and culturally responsive pedagogical frameworks that honor India's linguistic diversity while preparing learners for global participation.
