Innehållsförteckning:
-
This study investigates the influence of turbulence
anisotropy on loss generation in the midspan region of a
transonic compressor rotor. Wall-resolved large-eddy simulations
are employed to examine the characteristics and evolution
of turbulence. The analysis covers the global development of
anisotropy from inflow to outflow through the blade passage,
as well as the distribution and evolution of individual Reynolds
stress components within the boundary layers from the leading to
the trailing edge. The anisotropy behavior is further correlated
with the overall flow field to provide insights for improving
turbulence modeling in reduced-order approaches such as
RANS.
