  • <p>Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a vital role in managing employees, developing talent, and <br>ensuring long-term organizational success. In today’s dynamic business environment, organizations must <br>continuously adapt their HR practices to meet the changing needs of the workforce. One of the major changes <br>observed in recent years is the entry of Generation Z into the workplace. Generation Z, generally defined as <br>individuals born between the mid-1990s and early 2010s, has grown up in a highly digital and technology<br>driven world. As a result, their work expectations, attitudes, and career aspirations differ significantly from <br>those of previous generations such as Millennials and Generation X. <br>Generation Z employees are known for their strong technological skills, desire for meaningful work, and <br>preference for flexibility and work–life balance. They often expect rapid career growth, continuous learning <br>opportunities, and a supportive organizational culture that values diversity, innovation, and transparency. <br>Unlike earlier generations, Gen Z employees tend to prioritize personal development, mental well-being, and <br>job satisfaction along with financial stability. These changing expectations create new challenges for HR <br>professionals who are responsible for designing policies related to recruitment, training, engagement, and <br>retention. <br>Many organizations find it difficult to fully understand the mindset and workplace expectations of Gen Z <br>employees. Traditional HR strategies may not always be effective in attracting and retaining this new <br>generation of workers. As a result, HR professionals must continuously adapt their approaches to better connect <br>with Gen Z employees and create a work environment that aligns with their values and expectations. <br>Therefore, understanding the expectations and behavior of Generation Z has become essential for organizations <br>aiming to build a motivated and productive workforce. This study aims to identify the challenges faced by HR <br>professionals in understanding the expectations of Generation Z employees from their employers. It also seeks <br>to analyze the various factors that influence these challenges and provide insights that may help organizations <br>develop more effective HR strategies for managing and engaging the Gen Z workforce. <br><br></p>
