•
This paper proposes Signatrics as the founding framework for a new interdisciplinary academic discipline: the systematic study of signatures, defined as the distinctive, identifiable patterns produced, emitted, or left behind by any entity as evidence of its nature, presence, behaviour, or activity, across all domains simultaneously. The paper defines the discipline's scope, establishes its six primary domains (Physical, Electromagnetic, Digital, Biological, Institutional, and Metaphysical), develops the Signature Logic methodology, distinguishes Signatrics from adjacent fields including semiotics, forensic science, biometrics, and digital forensics, and addresses the epistemological and institutional questions attending the founding of a new discipline. Originated under the intellectual mandate of Wenkeshikpon, Accra, Ghana.
