Private equity has not only attracted substantial capital inflows but has also influenced corporate strategies, governance structures, and overall business growth worldwide.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>Globalization has intensified economic interconnectedness and accelerated changes in technology, business models, and socio-economic conditions, creating both opportunities and challenges for traditional public equity markets. These conventional markets, constrained by regulatory, liquidity, and structural limitations, have prompted investors to explore private equity as a more flexible and potentially high-yield alternative. In India, the private equity sector has grown rapidly, reflecting global trends while addressing domestic market needs. PE investments have played a key role in fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and corporate restructuring, thereby strengthening the capital market ecosystem.</span></p> <p><span>This study examines evolving investment trends in India, emphasizing the expanding role of private equity in shaping the country’s capital markets.
