-
This work analyzes a normalization ambiguity in projector-defined SU(2) gauge sectors, where projected response weights and stiffness inputs can be assigned to different microscopic sectors while preserving the same effective coupling. This freedom defines a sector-label degeneracy that prevents reconstruction of the underlying response kernel.

Within a covariance-normalized quadratic-response class, we show that this degeneracy is removed: both scalar inputs arise as canonical contractions of a single projector-fixed quadratic parent via low-frequency Schur reduction. The result establishes a conditional single-parent closure of the normalization interface and identifies diagnostic signatures of hidden heavy-sector structure when the closure fails.
