  • <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span>Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is now an effective strategic instrument in promoting skills and employability in India. This paper will provide a comparative analysis of CSR spending on skill development programs implemented by Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys between the years 2020-21 and 2024-25. The research is founded on secondary data gathered by the means of annual reports and CSR disclosures of the chosen companies.</span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span>The discussion looks at trends in CSR spending, distribution on skills development, beneficiary outreach, and the overall effect. The results indicate that whereas Tata Consultancy Services proves to have a greater expenditure on CSR and concentration on job-related training, Infosys concentrates more on online and scalable learning tools, which leads to broader coverage. The trend of both companies is that CSR investment is steadily increasing, but there is a significant shift in digital and future-oriented skill development programs.</span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span>The paper concludes that effectiveness of CSR is not just a financial commitment but also the strategic approach embraced by the organizations. Where TCS concentrates on depth and employability results, Infosys concentrates on scale and accessibility. The results emphasize the changing nature of CSR in terms of bridging the skills gap and in creating a workforce that is future-ready.</span></em></p>
