Specifically:</p> <ol class="[li_&]:mb-0 [li_&]:mt-1 [li_&]:gap-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-decimal flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3"> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">The Negative Euclidean (−,−,−,−) identification (v1) is conformally equivalent to the Euclidean phase and cannot be a physically distinct phase.</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">The Negative Lorentzian (+,−,−,−) identification (v2) is not physically distinct from the standard Lorentzian (−,+,+,+) — they are the same manifold written in different sign conventions. Insisting on physical distinction produces a tachyonic vacuum.</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">A spacetime with three timelike dimensions produces ultrahyperbolic partial differential equations with no well-posed Cauchy problem. Physics cannot be done in such a geometry.</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">The one-dimensional proton implied by one spacelike dimension is falsified by Transverse Momentum Dependent parton distribution function measurements and orbital angular momentum data.</li> </ol> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">The core intuition — that there is a geometric relationship between metric phase structure, gravity, and the strong force — remains a legitimate research question. A properly developed paper will be deposited when the theoretical foundations are established through full adversarial review.</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">The author thanks Gemini (Google DeepMind) for the rigorous adversarial review that identified these problems. Honest retraction is a scientific obligation.</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]"><em>All other papers in the FTT preprint series remain valid and unaffected by this retraction.</em></p>
