•
Over the course of six months, this prospective and observational study was carried out in the IP
and OP departments. Relevant patient data was gathered from the patient case sheets at the gastro
department at PIMS. The form for gathering data was created and utilized. Demographic
information such as age, gender, occupation, location, past medical history, symptoms, and
laboratory diagnoses such as RUT and endoscopy are included in the data collecting form.A total
of 180 patients have been identified as having H. pylori. Of them, 41% are women and 58% are
men. Heartburn is the most prevalent symptom (92%), while anemia is the least common
(22%).Scores were assigned based on the symptoms in order to determine the recurrence of the
symptoms and the eradication of H. pylori. Regardless of H. pylori prevalence, H. pylori
eradication generally significantly improves symptoms in people with functional dyspepsia.
Patients will benefit and healthcare will be improved by predicting the effectiveness of H. pylori
eradication therapy and selecting the right treatment based on clinical indicators and symptoms.
