  • <p>Three Mini-Seismic Methods (interval velocity measurements, refraction tomography, and seismic transmission) were applied in situ in rock salt at the Gorleben site and the Morsleben repository. The study demonstrates that seismic parameters such as P- and S-wave velocities, dynamic elastic moduli, and Poisson’s ratio allow a detailed characterization of stratigraphic units, EDZ/EdZ features, and larger rock mass structures. The results show high consistency with expected reference values and highlight the potential of mini-seismic methods for high-resolution in situ investigations of rock salt.</p>
