Rārangi ihirangi:
 •
This item is a digitized image of a traditional Tamil palm-leaf manuscript containing verses 241–250 from Adhikaram 25 (Aruḷuṭaimai – Possession of Compassion) of the Tirukkural, composed by Thiruvalluvar.

The manuscript is inscribed on processed palm leaf using a stylus, characteristic of the classical South Indian manuscript tradition. The folio generally displays central binding holes for stringing, finely incised Tamil script arranged in linear form, and visible signs of aging such as surface wear, minor fissures, and darkened lettering. Marginal markings and slight irregularities indicate manual scribal transmission and continued historical handling.

This manuscript represents the enduring preservation and transmission of Tamil ethical literature through palm-leaf tradition prior to print culture. It serves as a valuable resource for research in classical Tamil literature, manuscriptology, paleography, and cultural heritage studies.
