- <p>Implants is one of the most predictable and well established treatment modality for the replacement of missing <br>teeth. Computer assisted implant surgery is a recently developed technique for placement of dental implants. <br>Navigation systems used for the placement of dental implants enhances the predictability and accuracy of the <br>implant placement. Potential Intraoperative and post-operative complications are reduced, thereby reducing <br>patient morbidity. There are two types of computer assisted implant surgeries, static CAIS which utilizes surgical <br>guides for placement of implants and dynamic CAIS which is based on the motion tracking technology and enables <br>real time tracking of implants.</p>
