The species was recorded for Senegal only (Hering 1941), here it is recorded for the first time for Mali, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, and Togo (Fig. 2). It was collected during January, from March to November, from altitudes between 350 and 800 m within the following ecoregions: Guinean mangroves, West Sudanian savannah, Guinean forestsavannah, western and eastern Guinean lowland forests (Olson <i>et al</i>. 2001, Dinerstein <i>et al</i>. 2017).</p>
