- <p><b><i>Oebalus ypsilongriseus</i> (De Geer, 1773) (Fig. 3E)</b></p><p><b><i>Distribution:</i> Brazil:</b> Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Maranhão, Acre, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul. <b>Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, Peru, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay</b> (Sailer, 1944; Silva <i>et al.,</i> 2018).</p><p>Comments: <i>Oebalus poecilus</i> (Dallas, 1851) is the only other species of the genus found in the Atlantic Rain Forest; the general habitus of these two species is very distinct, therefore their separation is not difficult. The work of Sailer (1944) presents a key for most species of the genus.</p>
