- This basalt relief sculpture depicts the soldier riding a horse to the right; he holds in his right hand a light club (?) and a round shield with rim and boss slung on his right shoulder; bearded and wears pointed cap; traces of 3 ll inscription in front of him. This sculpture was discovered in Tell Halaf, an archaeological site in the Al Hasakah governorate of northeastern Syria, near the Turkish border, just opposite Ceylanpınar.
