Mục lục:
- Degas produced at least seven wax models of dancers in different positions of the arabesque, including three versions of the 'arabesque penchée' (leaning). He used these sculptures as a compositional aid for his oil paintings of ballet dancers. The original wax model for this sculpture was cast by the founder Hébrard, after Degas's death, in an edition of twenty-two. This object is part of Scan The World.
