P1 entirely reddish orange, P2–4 orange pink with lighter coloured patches.</p><p><b>Distribution.</b> W coast of Chile, Mozambique, Madagascar, SE coast of Arabia, Andaman Sea, Indonesia, South China Sea, Taiwan, Japan, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and New Caledonia; depth 289–1,057 m.</p>
