The study identifies the reasons for students’ declining interest in traditional forms of instruction and substantiates the need to introduce modern educational models based on interactivity, flexibility, and technological integration. Particular attention is paid to the changing role of the teacher, who in the contemporary educational environment acts not only as a source of knowledge but also as a mentor, consultant, and coordinator of students’ cognitive activity. The article also analyzes the problem of the mismatch between university graduates’ training and the current professional expectations of employers. It emphasizes the importance of developing not only professional knowledge and skills, but also soft skills that ensure successful adaptation in professional activity. The study concludes that there is a need for systematic renewal of educational content, teaching methods, assessment mechanisms, and management approaches in educational institutions.</span></em></p>
