-
Quantum spin is proposed to be the angular harmonic structure of the brane-bulk wave modes at focal deceleration zones. Electric charge is the radial mode (Paper VI); spin is the angular mode of the same wave. Half-integer spin (s = 1/2) arises from the requirement that the angular wave function return to its original state after a 4π rotation of the brane (a topological double-cover of SO(3)). Integer spin (s = 0, 1, 2...) corresponds to wave modes that close after 2π rotation. The spin-statistics theorem follows: half-integer spinors (fermions) are the fundamental matter constituents; integer- spin modes (bosons) are force carriers. The NMR/MRI analogy is structural: the brane spin modes precess under external sump gradients exactly as nuclear spins precess in a magnetic eld, with the T1/T2/T2* relaxation hierarchy governing the dephasing dynamics.

Part of the One-Octonion Brane-Bulk Framework series.
