Senglet.</p><p><i>Records from literature.</i> <b>Rapilly (1978)</b>: Kerman province: Delfar, 1500 m, 9.vi.1973; Saqdar, 2200 m, 11.vi.1973.</p><p><i>Remarks. Longitarsus grandis</i> is an endemic species from Iran, to which we attribute a Central Asiatic (CAS) distribution type. The record from Delfar is the only one after the first description of the species. <i>Longitarsus grandis</i> was collected on <i>Verbascum</i> (Scrophulariaceae) and shows close affinities with <i>L. tabidus</i>, from which it can be distinguished by the different pronotal and elytral punctuation, and from the different shape of aedeagus in lateral view (Rapilly 1978).</p>
