- <p>This preprint reports the preparation and characterization of steam-sterilizable cationic nanodiamond–silver composites with enhanced antibacterial activity. Hydrogenated nanodiamonds were used as positively charged carriers for immobilized silver nanoparticles, aiming to combine colloidal/interfacial properties of nanodiamonds with the antimicrobial functionality of silver. The study evaluates the structure, surface chemistry, sterilization stability, and antibacterial performance of the composites, highlighting their potential as robust nanodiamond-based antibacterial materials.</p> <p>Manuscript accepted for publication in <strong>Nanoscale Advances</strong>.</p>
