G. Senevet and E. Abonnenc; 1 Jan. 1938; no. G.941(3).</p><p><i>Wyeomyia compta</i> was recently synonymized with <i>Wy. argenteorostris</i> by Nascimento-Pereira <i>et al.</i> (2019: 365). The holotype, originally deposited in the LPFM, was transferred to the FMP (Belkin 1968: 42) and found in the MNHP by Dégallier & Claustre (1980: 144).</p>
